EP Fitness is proud to offer over 400 fun and invigorating group fitness classes every week!  Add spice to your workout routine by sampling from an abundant selection of classes offered at a EP Fitness location near you. Get a complete workout from the best instructors in El Paso in classes that combine cardiovascular training with strength training, stretching and core targeting. We offer a wide selection of courses to fit every experience and fitness level.  Be sure to ask for a free buddy pass to bring along a friend.

CORE (Abs Class, Abs & More)

This is a 30 minute class for people of all fitness levels. The instructor uses techniques and moves from popular abs, lower body and core exercises to work the entire trunk for a quick and efficient toning workout on the floor or standing.

 

Pilates CORE This is a 30 minute class for people of all fitness levels. The instructor takes moves from traditional abs class and the Pilates Method to specifically target and train the core muscles of the abdomen, lower back, thighs and gluteus. Proper form and technique are emphasized for best results. 

 

Body Sculpt

This class utilizes hand weights to tone and strengthen each of the major muscle groups. Because there is very little time between exercise sets, you will get a moderate cardiovascular workout while you strengthen your muscles with the weighted exercises yielding tremendous body toning results in a very short period of time. All fitness levels are welcome!

Cardio Sculpt

This class uses the basic premise of the body sculpt class with an even greater emphasis on cardiovascular activity. The instructor uses floor exercise, step, kickboxing or even dance before and in between strength training exercises to maximize the calorie and fat burning benefits. This class is for all fitness levels but is more intense than the basic body sculpting class. Get your sweat on while pumping the iron for major results!

Sculpt w/Pilates

This class is less aerobic than the cardio or body sculpting classes. It emphasizes strengthening and lengthening of muscles through the use of traditional Pilates techniques plus added hand weights or tubing to create a longer, leaner, stronger and more flexible body and inner core. All fitness levels are welcome!

Cardio Ball

This class uses the inflated fitness ball, a step and lots of energy to burn calories and strength train at the same time. Participants raise and maintain their heart rates with the cardio activities and tone muscle using the ball, at times added hand weights and gravity. Working to keep stability while following the instructor is the big added challenge! All fitness levels are welcome.

Hi-lo Cardio

This class uses floor or step to interval train participants in low and high intensities. The variation keeps the body adjusting to new demands and is a calorie buster! All fitness levels are welcome.

 

Boot Camp

A complete total body workout to tone and define your body in a unique blend of cardio and strength training. This workout interchanges short busts of cardio with periods of strength training and calisthenics, as well as interval training alternating strengthening exercises using hand weights with heart pounding cardio boosts.

 

Extreme Fitness                                                                                                

This workout uses a body bar with disc weights that can be added and subtracted throughout the class as the instructor challenges each of the major muscle groups until exhaustion. High repetitions and moderate weights or heavy weights and low repetitions in a nonstop format work the entire body to get fast and awesome results!

Performance Pilates

This class uses the traditional Pilates method of strength, flexibility, balance and abdominal core work to create longer, stronger and leaner bodies. Exercises are performed standing or on a mat. Gravity is your resistance and your body is the equipment. All fitness levels are welcome to this increasingly popular mind and body workout routine.

Cycling Classes

This is a 45, 60 or 90 minute workout on an indoor cycle coordinated to music. Higher intensity music is used during peak intensity in the classes such as for jogging, running or sprinting, medium intensity music is used for techniques such as jumping/vaulting, moderate climbing or simulated flat roads and lower intensity music is used during medium to heavy simulated hill climbing in a seated, standing or combination positions. Ultimately, control of intensity is up to the participant, which makes this class ideal for all fitness levels at once! It is a calorie burner and super leg and bottom workout.

Cardio Kick Classes

This class combines the intensity and the moves of martial arts, with the choreography and music of cardio classes. EP Fitness cardio kick classes concentrate on cardiovascular exercise and all over muscle toning through punches, kicks, steps, jabs, cuts, abs work and agility training.  Kickboxing classes are an excellent outlet for healthy stress relief! Moderate to advanced fitness levels will love the challenge, and beginners can learn in progressive practice and participation.

Cardio Dance (Salsa!)

Dance classes are among the most popular at every EP Fitness Center. Salsa, Latin, hip-hop and other dance styles create the perfect format for fitness cardio classes. These exciting classes give you the feel of being on the dance floor, while giving you tremendous fitness benefits. Plus, dance classes are lots and lots of fun!

Fitness Step (1, 2, or 3)

Step classes are a long-time favorite of cardio enthusiasts everywhere. These classes allow the individual to adjust the intensity by adding or subtracting risers from under the step. Step classes offer a tremendous cardiovascular workout in a fun, exciting environment. Depending on the class level (1, 2, or 3), EP Fitness instructors make the choreography easy or more complicated to follow. It is also possible to participate in the class without a step at all and still have the fun and fitness benefits of the class!                                                                                                          

Fitness Yoga

Yoga is used by people from all walks of life to achieve a state of physical, mental and emotional well-being. This class can address all levels of fitness, with modifications provided during each move by experienced instructors. Yoga promotes strength and flexibility as well as a sense of well being and stress relief. It is excellent for all ages, including seniors that want to regain mobility and flexibility.

Youth Martial Arts/Youth Fitness

EP Fitness offers youth martial arts and fitness classes for children ages 6 to 14. The fee based classes are open to all levels, whereby the instructor trains and mentors the young participant in a form of martial arts or other fitness activities for physical, mental and emotional well-being and discipline and training. Youth passes can be purchased at the front desk of participating clubs.

Yogalates

This class blends the best of both Yoga and Pilates to work the mind and body in a complete challenging yet relaxing workout. It combines strength, toning, balance, flexibility and posture awareness in a complete mind and body class format. All fitness levels are welcome.

 

Belly DanceThis class teaches the rhythms, movements and fun of belly dancing techniques to achieve a cardiovascular and whole body toning workout. It is challenging and unique, but all fitness levels are welcome!
